The new AUDI brand is written in all capital letters and does away with the familiar four-ring Audi logo. This China-exclusive brand aims to combine Audi engineering with tailor-made innovations to suit the tastes of consumers in the country of a billion people.

The AUDI E5 Sportback is developed on the basis of the Advanced Digitized Platform (ADP). This platform was created specifically for the Chinese market with a modern electronic partition architecture.

This platform allows the vehicle to integrate new generation connectivity functions and over-the-air (OTA) software updates for the entire system. AUDI E5 Sportback has dimensions of length x width x height of 4,870 x 1,990 x 1,460 mm and a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. With this size, the vehicle is positioned in the mid-range segment.

On the outside, the first model of the AUDI brand has a sporty design with a characteristic fastback shape. The bold exterior design of the car brings a new interpretation of the traditional Audi style. Instead of the 4-ring logo, the car uses the word “AUDI” on both the front and the rear.

The circular LED strip at the front is a prominent highlight, creating a distinctive and easily recognizable lighting effect. The car is also equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor to support advanced autonomous driving features.

Inside, the AUDI E5 Sportback features a digital display that spans the entire dashboard, combined with premium wood trim, creating a warm and luxurious feel. The car's standout technologies include a 27-inch 4K display and customizable interface.

This screen runs on the AUDI OS operating system using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip. In addition, there is a virtual assistant controlled by voice and touch, supporting AI artificial intelligence. The AUDI 360 driving assistance system will use LiDAR, including 29 sensors.

In the Chinese market, the AUDI E5 Sportback has a total of 4 versions with rear-wheel drive and quattro all-wheel drive. These versions will have a maximum capacity of 295 horsepower, 402 horsepower, 570 horsepower and 776 horsepower. The highest version can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.

The car's largest battery has a capacity of 100 kWh, providing a maximum range of 770 km on a single charge according to China's CLTC standard. 800 V technology allows for super-fast charging, with a 10-minute wait for a range of 370 km. Advanced four-wheel steering with adaptive air suspension is also equipped.
