According to information from General Vo Nguyen Giap's family, Ms. Dang Bich Ha, wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap, has passed away.

"She passed away at 0:50 on September 17. The family is preparing for the funeral, there is currently no funeral program," Mr. Vo Hong Nam, son of General Vo Nguyen Giap, informed the press.

Ms. Dang Bich Ha was born in 1928 in Thanh Chuong, Nghe An. She is the first daughter of Professor Dang Thai Mai (former Ministerof Education , first director of the Vietnam Institute of Literature).

In late 1946, the wedding of Commander-in-Chief Vo Nguyen Giap and Ms. Dang Bich Ha was held simply.

Mrs. Dang Bich Ha and General Vo Nguyen Giap had four children together: Vo Hoa Binh, Vo Hanh Phuc, Vo Dien Bien and Vo Hong Nam.
