According to the Le Fonti Scientific Committee, Ms. Thai Huong - Founder, Chairman of the TH Group's Strategy Council and General Director of Bac A Joint Stock Commercial Bank has won over all members when creating high-tech agricultural projects with a strategy of using Vietnamese intelligence, Vietnamese natural resources and the world's terminal technology. Under the leadership of the businesswoman, TH Group has promoted sustainable agricultural production with the motto: "Cherish Mother Nature, who will give you everything".
TH's projects all implement sustainable development strategies according to GRI international standards with 6 pillars: nutrition - health; environment, education, people, community and animal welfare, contributing to the green economy , circular economy, and knowledge economy in Vietnam.
TH Group sets a target of reducing direct greenhouse gas emissions at farms and factories by an average of 15% per year in the scope of direct greenhouse gas emissions; reducing the total scope of direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions per unit of product by an average of 15% per year. In 2022, the number achieved by the TH farm system is 20%, exceeding the set plan. To achieve these goals, TH focuses on 3 activities: reducing greenhouse gas emissions; switching to using green energy sources, renewable energy and absorbing greenhouse gases.
To convert to green energy sources, right from the first clean fresh milk project, TH has invested in the world's leading advanced technologies. Up to now, all of TH's activities comply with the principles of using environmentally friendly materials, green energy, and renewable energy. On the roofs of the milk factory and dairy farm cluster, TH has installed solar power systems. According to the Group's statistics, in 2022, TH farms will connect to the grid approximately 7 million kWh (meeting nearly 10% of the electricity consumed at the farm unit), equivalent to reducing and recovering more than 4,500 tons of CO2 per year.
