Bac Ha organizes the 2024 National Defense Sports Festival

On May 18, the Bac Ha District Military Command organized the National Defense Sports and Physical Training Festival and the Military Shooting Competition to improve militia and self-defense in 2024.

The sports festival had 304 athletes from the Military Command of communes and towns in the district. The athletes competed in 3 events: AK submachine gun shooting lesson 1, male and female teams; three combined military events including: shooting, throwing grenades in the right direction, armed running distance of 3,000 m for men, 1,500 m for women...

Due to the weather, the training ground was covered in thick fog, but thanks to good preparation, the athletes completed the competition well according to the set content, ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons.

The national defense sports and shooting competition to improve militia and self-defense forces is an important task in local military and defense work to demonstrate the strength of militia and self-defense forces, and at the same time evaluate the results of force building, training, promoting the movement of physical training and sports, improving the health of officers and soldiers in the district armed forces in general, and militia and self-defense forces in particular, to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

During the sports festival, the Organizing Committee maintained and operated the competition contents scientifically , seriously, and strictly according to the plan. The athletes competed enthusiastically, wholeheartedly with a high spirit of determination. At the end of the sports festival, 100% of the competition contents achieved the goals and requirements, ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment.

Awarding prizes to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements

At the end of the sports festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes to individuals with excellent achievements in the male and female competitions; awarded the first prize to the whole team to Nam Khanh commune, the second prize to Ban Lien commune and the third prize to Nam Luc commune.
