According to the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion, Department of Industry and Trade, this is a very meaningful and important Program for the OCOP subjects of the province. Through the Program, it aims to effectively support enterprises to participate more deeply in the global production and supply chain, adapt to the trend of increasingly deep international economic integration; promote, advertise, display and introduce OCOP products of Bac Kan province, thereby contributing to creating a driving force to further promote socio-economic development.
At the same time, introduce and create connections between OCOP subjects of Bac Kan province and a number of foreign enterprises as well as representative agencies and foreign trade promotion organizations in Vietnam; gradually approach distribution channels and international importers, thereby having plans to invest in product development and improve production and business efficiency to meet the needs of the domestic market and towards export; create conditions for OCOP subjects to directly participate in connection programs on digital platforms and learn and directly exchange with domestic enterprises, retail distribution corporations and supermarkets.
This program is quite large in scale, with 250 booths. Bac Kan province is arranged with 25 standard booths to promote, advertise, display and introduce OCOP products. The province plans to allocate booths as follows: Bac Kan city 07 booths; Bach Thong district 02 booths; Ba Be district 04 booths; Cho Moi district 04 booths; Cho Don district 02 booths; Na Ri district 04 booths; Ngan Son district 01 booth; Pac Nam district 01 booth.
Mr. Quach Manh Thang, Director of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion, said: "The province's booths expected to participate in this Program will be implemented very thoughtfully, economically and effectively; ensuring full compliance with the requirements and regulations of the Organizing Committee; the products and goods participating in the program are OCOP certified products of 3 stars or higher, ensuring richness and diversity".
Tan Thanh Agricultural Cooperative is one of the 7 OCOP entities participating in VIETNAM OCOPEX. Currently, the members of the Cooperative are actively preparing enough goods for this important trade promotion. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Minh, Director of Tan Thanh Agricultural Cooperative (Bac Kan City) shared: “We have prepared thousands of high-quality Bac Kan black glutinous rice and red glutinous rice turmeric starch products to introduce to visitors and businesses about turmeric products with local characteristics. I hope that from the 2024 OCOP Export Products Exhibition Program, the Cooperative's products will be further developed, not only reaching domestic consumers but also entering the international market…”.
Talking with the leaders of the Office of New Rural Area Coordination of Bac Kan province, it is known that in order to participate in the program with quality, immediately after receiving the direction of the province, the Office proactively coordinated with the People's Committees of districts and cities to guide OCOP subjects in preparing products, goods, leaflets, brochures, catalogs introducing products and goods, product stories, etc. to participate in the Program; at the same time, assigned staff to coordinate and support the subjects during the process of participating in the Program.
Up to now, 54 3-5 star OCOP products of the province are ready to participate in the 2024 OCOP Export Products Exhibition Program, scheduled to take place from October 31, 2024 to November 4, 2024 in Hung Yen province. At the same time, it promises to bring many interesting experiences to people about OCOP products of Bac Kan province; opening up long-term cooperation opportunities with major domestic and foreign partners.../.
