Checking the preparation for operating the new commune government apparatus and overcoming natural disasters in Sy Binh commune

BBK- On the afternoon of June 19, Comrade Phuong Thi Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Bac Kan province inspected the work of document archiving, preparing facilities for the operation of the new commune government apparatus and overcoming natural disasters in Sy Binh commune (Bach Thong).

Comrade Phuong Thi Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, worked in Sy Binh commune.

Also attending was comrade Do Thi Minh Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

According to the report of Sy Binh commune and Bach Thong district, the work of archiving records and documents related to programs, projects and construction works in the area is being urgently completed. The arrangement of facilities to serve the operation of the new government apparatus of Vinh Thong commune has been carefully calculated by the district, ensuring suitability to reality and convenience for the people.

Regarding personnel work, Bach Thong district has arranged personnel scientifically , ensuring factors of professional capacity, working and living conditions for cadres and civil servants when they take up their duties at the new commune. The new Vinh Thong commune has completed the trial operation of the commune-level government apparatus. The new Vinh Thong commune Public Administration Center has not yet been put into operation due to unsynchronized equipment and technology.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the working delegation inspected the overcoming of natural disaster consequences in Sy Binh commune.

Regarding the damage caused by the heavy rain in the early morning of June 19, 2025, the whole commune has 11 houses in the high-risk landslide area. Currently, 02 households have been urgently evacuated to the village cultural house, 01 household has moved to a relative's house, the remaining households are continuing to monitor the weather and will continue to evacuate if there is still heavy rain. Many inter-commune and inter-village roads were eroded, causing traffic jams and difficulties in traveling, 01 hectare of fish pond was flooded.

Comrade Phuong Thi Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, presented gifts to households that had to be urgently evacuated from the landslide area.

Conclusion of the meeting Regarding the work, Comrade Phuong Thi Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, requested Bach Thong district and Sy Binh commune to urgently complete all the arrangement and storage of documents on June 20. At the same time, proactively create the best conditions for accommodation and meals for officials and civil servants from the district and province to work in the new commune on the basis of suitability with the practical conditions of the locality. Comrade Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: Putting the new commune government apparatus into operation is a very important task, requiring officials and civil servants of the new commune to change their thinking and working style, regularly improve their expertise and skills to meet the increasingly high requirements of the job. Regarding the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, he noted that the commune needs to effectively promote the "4 on-site" motto, mobilize forces to support people to urgently overcome damage, stabilize their lives and production./.
