According to statistics for the first 7 months of 2024, Bac Ninh province is the locality with total registered FDI capital exceeding the 3 billion USD mark. The province has also just announced a list of 167 projects attracting investment in 2024, oriented to 2030 with a total land use area of about 11,638 hectares.
It is worth noting that the list of approved projects includes many large technology corporations in the world such as Samsung, Canon, Fushan Technology, Amkor, Goertek... spread throughout the localities of the province, to ensure even development for all areas, helping businesses access information quickly and transparently.
On the sidelines of a conference, Mr. Jiang Bin, Chairman of Goertek Group, commented: The cooperation between Bac Ninh province and Goertek is a typical example of the successful partnership between Vietnam and foreign enterprises.

After nearly 40 years of innovation, Bac Ninh has now risen to the top of the country in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), per capita income and is the destination of many of the world's leading technology corporations.
Bac Ninh has many advantages, first of all in terms of transportation. Currently, Bac Ninh has two axes: the old National Highway 1A and especially the new National Highway 1A running through many localities of the province. These two backbone roads are connected inter-provincially and inter-regionally through many major routes: Bac Ninh-Noi Bai Expressway, National Highway 17 to Hai Duong -Quang Ninh, National Highway 38 connecting with the provinces of the Red River Delta... This national highway system is connected with provincial roads such as: 295B, 295C, 276, 279, 281... forming a chain of links between urban areas, linking urban and rural areas.

Nearly 30 years ago, starting with the Vietnam-Japan Float Glass Project (Que Vo Industrial Park), the province has now granted investment registration to 1,271 valid FDI projects, becoming one of the localities that always leads the country in attracting FDI capital. This has proven that selective investment attraction, focusing on high-tech industries, large investment capital to take advantage of the land of studiousness - high human resources, thereby creating income for workers of Bac Ninh is very effective.

In the near future, Bac Ninh sets a goal of having 25 industrial parks by 2030, the industrial development space will include 4 regions including: Electronic Technology Valley - Yen Phong district; Industrial corridor - Que Vo town; New industrial park - Thuan Thanh town and Luong Tai district, Gia Binh district; Information Technology and High Technology Center - Tien Du district and Bac Ninh city.
The province expects to achieve an average GRDP growth rate of 8%-9%/year; the proportion of GRDP of industry and construction is about 72.7%; services is about 21.7%. GRDP per capita is about 346.6 million VND/person; export turnover is about 50 billion USD; import is about 42 billion USD. By 2025, the province will have no poor households according to the national poverty standard for the period 2021-2025...
To realize the above objectives, Bac Ninh has set out 3 key tasks and 6 breakthroughs. In which, it focuses on investment resources in industry and services; focuses on developing potential industries; transforms and attracts investment in new industries.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan shared: "With the support of the Central Government, the consensus and high consensus of the Party Committee, government and people, the province will effectively implement the Provincial Planning, opening up a new development space, based on its own potentials and advantages, exploiting the strengths of regional linkages, to create new driving forces for Bac Ninh to develop".
