The 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Traditional Medicine Clinic of the Traditional Medicine Research and Application Joint Stock Company marks an important milestone in the journey of preserving - researching - developing Vietnamese Traditional Medicine.

In addition to looking back at the numbers and achievements, the ceremony is also a moment to pay tribute to the silent hearts that have accompanied the Center in preserving the flame of traditional medicine for 15 years. Among them, Master, Doctor Nguyen Thi Tuyet Lan - who has been with Traditional Medicine since the very first days - is the most mentioned person.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Lan (Former Head of the Examination Department at the Central Hospital of Traditional Medicine, Professional Director of the Traditional Medicine Clinic Thuoc Dan Toc) has devoted most of her career to answering a single question: "What else can be done, what more can be done to help Traditional Medicine take long and steady steps in modern life?".

At Thuoc Dan Toc, that is also what drives every action and every job she has done throughout her 15-year journey.

Innovation from traditional platforms: A difficult but necessary choice

Right from the first days of participating in building the Traditional Medicine Clinic Thuoc Dan Toc, Dr. Tuyet Lan saw a big challenge: Traditional medicine cannot develop if it only relies on generational experience. Secret formulas, ancient remedies, and remedies of indigenous people are priceless treasures, but cannot be completely applied to treat patients today.
