The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also directed to strengthen the application of science and technology to improve the quality of forecasting and warning of incidents, natural disasters and catastrophes. Especially the types of natural disasters that frequently occur and cause great damage such as: storms, floods, flash floods, landslides.
Military and police forces soon developed scenarios to conduct training and drills on handling subsidence and landslide response issues.

In particular, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units and localities to urgently and resolutely carry out dredging of streams and forming natural reservoirs to avoid flooding. At the same time, make specific proposals to the Provincial People's Committee and the Central level to ensure the best facilities for search and rescue work, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property in the face of natural disasters.
