The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department visited and extended congratulations to Catholic compatriots and the 283rd Air Defense Brigade.

On the morning of December 17th, a delegation from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, led by Deputy Head Pham Ngoc Canh, visited and congratulated the Catholic community and encouraged the 283rd Air Defense Brigade, which was carrying out field exercises and mass mobilization work in Van Kieu commune.

On the occasion of Christmas 2025, Comrade Pham Ngoc Canh, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and extended greetings to the religious leaders, officials, and Catholic parishioners at Xuan Kieu Parish (Van Kieu Commune). Accompanying him were Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Trinh, Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 283; and Comrade Chu Ba Long, Secretary of the Party Committee of Van Kieu Commune.

On behalf of the delegation, the Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department extended best wishes to the religious leaders, officials, and all Catholic compatriots, wishing them a peaceful and happy Christmas season and a New Year 2026 filled with joy and success.

In light of the positive results achieved by Xuan Kieu parish and the locality in recent times, the Deputy Head of the Committee acknowledged the consensus and support of all sectors of the population, including Catholic compatriots; especially in the process of reorganizing and consolidating the organizational structure, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and serving the people better. These results are proof of the efforts of the entire political system and the unity and solidarity of the whole people.

The Deputy Head of the Committee expressed his hope that in the coming time, the priest, along with other religious leaders, officials, and parishioners, will continue to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and local regulations; uphold the tradition of unity, live "a good life and a beautiful faith," actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, and work together to build a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland and country.

Sharing with the delegation, Father Dang Van Phuong, parish priest of Xuan Kieu, informed them about some of the activities of the parish and its parishioners in the area. The parish priest expressed his joy at the attention shown by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Brigade 283, and the Party Committee and government of Van Kieu commune. The priest and nearly 4,000 parishioners of the religion always remain united, closely connected, and wholeheartedly work together with the people, Party Committee, and government to build a cultural life and develop the local economy and society.

On the same day, the working group of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of Brigade 283 who were carrying out field exercises and mass mobilization work in Van Kieu commune.

As part of the second phase of the 2025 field exercise and civilian outreach plan, from December 16th to December 30th, 120 officers and soldiers of the 283rd Air Defense Brigade, Military Region 4, coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, departments, organizations, and the people to carry out their duties in Van Kieu commune.

On behalf of the delegation, the Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department visited and inquired about the health of the officers and soldiers, encouraging them to strive, uphold their spirit and responsibility, and effectively implement the objectives set by the unit during the field exercise in Van Kieu commune.

The comrade also requested that the Party Committee of Van Kieu commune coordinate well with the Brigade to complete the six tasks and objectives set forth, contributing to consolidating and strengthening military-civilian solidarity and ensuring national defense and security in the area. On this occasion, the delegation also presented gifts to encourage the officers and soldiers.
