Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department extends Christmas greetings in Ho Chi Minh City.

On the morning of December 17th, Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, visited and extended Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 greetings to several Catholic and Protestant establishments in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the Archbishop's Palace of the Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh City, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Trinh Van Quyet, extended his best wishes for a peaceful and happy Christmas to Archbishop Nguyen Nang, priests, religious, and Catholic people; and expressed gratitude for the positive contributions of the Catholic community in supporting the Party and State's guidelines, policies, and strategies in socio-economic development, social welfare work, and assistance to those affected by natural disasters and floods in 2025.

Sharing the situation and socio-economic achievements of the country, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet affirmed that the Party and State have been implementing many important policies, creating new momentum for the development of the country's economy, society, national defense, and security, and promoting the creativity and contributions of all Vietnamese people, regardless of their religious beliefs, for the development of the country. The policies of the Party and State are all aimed at peace , prosperity, and happiness for the people; the greatest and foremost goal is for the happiness and well-being of the people, for the benefit of the nation and the people.

Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Trinh Van Quyet emphasized that, entering 2026 with the goal of striving for double-digit economic growth in the era of national development, the Party and State leaders earnestly hope and trust that Archbishop Nguyen Nang, bishops, priests, religious, and Catholic compatriots nationwide will continue to uphold the spirit of "Reverence for God - Love for the Country," spreading the love and sacrifice of Christ, accompanying the nation, promoting the spirit of national unity, and achieving high consensus with the Party and State's guidelines, policies, and strategies to jointly realize the people's aspirations for peace, prosperity, and happiness, and build a strong and prosperous country.

Thanking the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front leaders for their concern and affection for the Catholic community, Archbishop Nguyen Nang expressed his joy at the positive changes and successes of the country in 2025, despite the difficulties arising from the negative impacts of the global situation and the consequences of natural disasters such as storms and floods. He noted that in the past, the Catholic community of the Ho Chi Minh City Diocese and other dioceses nationwide have actively participated with the government in supporting those affected by natural disasters to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Archbishop Nguyen Nang stated that Catholics are delighted with the country's development and the policies being implemented, especially the strong investment in education , healthcare, and infrastructure development. Priests and religious are striving to fulfill their responsibilities according to Church regulations to contribute to building and strengthening human morality and culture through concrete actions such as: educating parishioners to practice professional ethics; respecting the truth, avoiding deceit, practicing love and charity, and bringing peace to those around them and to society. Catholics will not only accompany the nation but also strive to do more, because Catholics are an integral part of the nation, a component of the Vietnamese people.

Visiting the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern Region), on behalf of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Trinh Van Quyet, wished Pastor Thai Phuoc Truong, President of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern Region), and the entire congregation a peaceful and happy Christmas season and a healthy and successful New Year.

Announcing the positive results achieved in the country's economic and foreign affairs fields in 2025, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Trinh Van Quyet, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of pastors, deacons, preachers, and Protestant believers who have always united and accompanied the Party, the State, and the people of the whole country, working together to overcome difficulties and create the strength to achieve positive results in economic development and national construction and development.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department expressed his hope that Pastor Thai Phuoc Truong, the Chairman of the Association, and other pastors, deacons, and evangelists would continue to build upon the positive results achieved, further encourage fellow believers to unite and diligently adhere to the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, live virtuous lives, respect God and love the country; and at the same time, pay attention to preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​and moral qualities of the nation, building cultured, happy, and prosperous families, thereby contributing to building an increasingly prosperous and thriving country.

On behalf of the pastors, deacons, evangelists, and fellow Protestant believers, Pastor Thai Phuoc Truong, the President of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam, respectfully expresses gratitude for the attention and support of the Party and the State, which have helped and created favorable conditions for the stable operation and development of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern Region) and Protestant believers nationwide.

Expressing pride in the country's economic, social, and foreign policy achievements, Pastor Thai Phuoc Truong pledged to continue mobilizing and guiding his fellow believers to unite, effectively implement patriotic emulation movements, work together to build and promote national unity, and continue to contribute even more to the country's development.
