Ensuring traffic safety for the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee

Hanoi City Police have deployed many plans to ensure traffic order and safety to serve the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Implementing the plan of the City Police, the Traffic Police Department has directed local teams to mobilize officers, soldiers, vehicles, and equipment to coordinate with functional forces and synchronously deploy measures to ensure absolute safety for the activities of Party and State leaders, delegations, and guests attending the Congress.

In addition to welcoming Party and State leaders and delegations attending the meeting, the Traffic Police will increase forces at key intersections, proactively monitor the situation, and reasonably regulate traffic to ensure smooth traffic; promptly handle incidents, and prevent congestion that affects the travel of delegates and people in the capital.

At the same time, the Traffic Police force has increased mobile patrols and controls, maintained traffic monitoring through the camera surveillance system, promptly detected and coordinated to handle arising situations; strictly handled violations such as stopping and parking vehicles in violation of regulations; using alcohol while driving; not obeying traffic light signals, carrying bulky goods, not wearing helmets, etc.

During the City Party Congress, the Traffic Police Department requires traffic participants to quickly give way to priority vehicles when encountering vehicles signaling, and strictly comply with the instructions and traffic flow of the Traffic Police force.
