The Ministry of Health requires medical facilities to ensure medical examination, treatment, and emergency treatment for traffic accidents during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

Organize emergency care, medical examination and treatment well, ensure that all emergency patients are examined and treated, do not refuse or delay emergency treatment. If the emergency is outside the line or the specialty, it is necessary to provide initial emergency treatment, fully explain to the patient and the patient's family before transferring to another medical facility. Assign a permanent emergency response team outside the hospital, be ready and promptly respond to emergency cases of mass accidents, serious traffic accidents, mass gathering disasters... if any in the locality. Ensure food safety and hygiene, prevent food poisoning, drowning, trampling... warn of accidents at places with high tourist concentration.

The Deputy Minister also requested that medical units ensure a 24/7 hotline to be ready to direct, coordinate, support and respond when necessary. In case of special developments such as disaster emergency, mass accidents, food poisoning and other special cases, the unit is requested to urgently report to the direct management agency via the hotline, and promptly report in writing about the special developments for timely resolution.

Medical examination and treatment facilities report online daily data on medical examination, treatment, and traffic accident emergency on the website cdc.kcb.vn (using the 2025 Tet reporting account, support email [email protected], reporting time is 8:00 a.m. every day, from April 29 to May 4). All medical examination and treatment facilities with beds are required to do so; in cases where there is no medical examination and treatment data, reports must still be sent.

For deaths (including deaths on the way to medical facilities, severe cases requiring home discharge) suspected of being caused by traffic accidents, please report separately to the cause of death management subsystem on the Medical Examination and Treatment Management Portal cdc.kcb.vn according to the Ministry of Health's instructions for recording deaths.

The leaders of the Ministry of Health requested that units enhance their sense of responsibility and proactively implement all of the above contents to ensure medical work during the holiday for the people.
