In the third quarter and the first nine months of 2025, the logistics and engineering sector has advised, directed, and thoroughly grasped all aspects of work, ensuring timely completion of training missions, regular and unexpected combat readiness, and important events of the country and the army.

Ensuring good living conditions, health care for soldiers, promoting production and achieving efficiency; projects and works being implemented on schedule and with quality; ensuring timely supply of fuel, transportation and technology for missions; maintaining and strictly implementing the logistics and technical work regime.

The key task in the fourth quarter of 2025 is to ensure good logistics and technology for regular and unexpected tasks, and complete the 2025 plan targets. Logistics and technical agencies must grasp the situation, improve forecast quality, proactively advise and direct the strict maintenance of combat readiness; strictly direct the implementation of standards and quantification of food allowances according to Circular No. 96/2025/TT-BQP dated August 25, 2025 of the Ministry of National Defense .

In addition, speed up the construction progress of production increase projects, organize winter-spring crop increase to ensure food for the off-season, Lunar New Year and the New Year of receiving new soldiers in 2026, do a good job of disease prevention and control, cold protection for crops and livestock, strive to complete and exceed the production increase target in 2025.

Closely coordinate with the local preventive health system, improve the quality of forecasting and monitoring to proactively prevent and control epidemics; strengthen the review, adjustment and supplementation of the master plan of the barracks; complete plans to create sources for purchasing gasoline and oil, organize timely reception and distribution for regular and unexpected tasks; proactively, flexibly and promptly direct transportation operations to meet mission requirements in all situations; strictly manage the quantity and quality of weapons and technical equipment according to the payroll; organize logistics and technical training according to plan, strictly and safely.

Concluding the conference, Major General Nguyen Trong Thien praised the achievements of the logistics and engineering sector in the third quarter and the first nine months of 2025. However, in addition to the achieved results, there are still limitations and shortcomings that need to be urgently and thoroughly overcome; especially with the system of regular and combat logistics and engineering documents, it is required that from 2026, it will be implemented according to the newly issued form.

At the same time, agencies and units focus on logistics and technical work; logistics and technical agencies need to further improve their ability to forecast and promptly evaluate to advise, guide, direct and organize the implementation of logistics and technical work; proactively implement the work of creating sources, ensuring logistics and technical support for the Lunar New Year and preparing to receive and train new soldiers in 2026; regularly monitor, track and implement plans to coordinate production and increase production between units stationed in the Hanoi area; strictly manage the quantity and quality of weapons and equipment according to the establishment.

In addition, units affected by storm No. 10 quickly overcame the consequences, prepared forces, means, logistics and technical materials, and measures to prevent and respond to storm No. 11.
