Attending the conference were representatives of Ha Dong ward leaders, Military Medical Academy; Hanoi Moi Newspaper; Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam ( BIDV ) Van Phu Branch and 60 policy families and meritorious people in the ward.
Over the years, Ha Dong district (old) and Ha Dong ward have always promoted the tradition of humanity "When drinking water, remember the source", "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree", caring for and improving the material and spiritual life of war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Ha Dong Ward organized activities to care for families with meritorious services and people with meritorious services, such as: Mobilizing support for the "Repaying gratitude" Fund with nearly 895 million VND; giving gifts to 2,264 families with meritorious services and people with meritorious services in the ward; using the ward's "Repaying gratitude" Fund to give gifts to 18 outstanding meritorious people; coordinating with Military Hospital 103 to organize medical examinations, consultations, health care and medicine for meritorious people with nearly 200 million VND; mobilizing socialization to donate 26 savings books to meritorious people with long-term illness with an amount of 280 million VND...
At the conference, Ha Dong ward coordinated with the Military Medical Academy; Hanoi Moi Newspaper; Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) Van Phu Branch to present 60 gifts to 60 families with meritorious services and beneficiaries. Hanoi Moi Newspaper alone allocated 20 million VND from the Compassionate Heart Fund to present 20 gifts to families with meritorious services and beneficiaries of Ha Dong ward.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Ha Dong Ward People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hien expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, sick soldiers, families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the cause of fighting for national independence and unification; sent his best wishes to war invalids, sick soldiers, families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to Ha Dong Ward. At the same time, he sincerely thanked the affection and attention of the Military Medical Academy; Hanoi Moi Newspaper; Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) Van Phu Branch for always paying attention to supporting and helping the locality in humanitarian charity work, especially the work of gratitude.
On behalf of the units presenting gifts to policy families and meritorious people at the conference, Colonel Vu Quyet Thang, Deputy Head of Political Department, Military Medical Academy, expressed his gratitude to the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution in Ha Dong ward and said that the unit will continue to maintain contact with the Party Committee and government of Ha Dong ward to carry out the work of gratitude, contributing to alleviating the losses of policy families and meritorious people, overcoming difficulties and rising up in life.
Speaking at the conference, war invalid Doan Phan Anh, residential group 13 Nguyen Trai, Ha Dong ward, emotionally thanked the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Dong ward, agencies and units for always caring for and encouraging policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution in recent years, especially on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
