Accordingly, martyr Nguyen Van Bo joined the revolution in 1949 and held many different positions, such as: Secretary of Duc Tan Commune Party Cell; Deputy Secretary of Tan Tru District Party Committee; Secretary of Tan Tru District Party Committee; Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Long An Provincial Youth Union.
With 39 years of age and 19 years of revolutionary activities, martyr Nguyen Van Bo devoted his whole life to the cause of fighting for national independence and for the happiness of the people. He is forever a shining example for the young generation of Tan Tru in particular and Long An province in general to learn and follow.

Nguyen Van Bo Secondary School was inaugurated after more than 5 months of construction, with a total cost of more than 41 billion VND. This funding was mobilized by former President Truong Tan Sang and Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Van Ron from Him Lam Joint Stock Company.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Nguyen Van Bo Secondary School will open with 13 classes, 540 students and a swimming pool on campus. This is considered the school with the most spacious and modern facilities in Tan Tru district today.

At the ceremony, many banks and businesses contributed over 6 billion VND to the Nguyen Van Bo Scholarship Fund of Tan Tru district. Of which, Agribank contributed 2 billion VND.
