Late in the afternoon of July 21, Hanoi University of Industry announced the threshold for ensuring input quality (floor score) and the rules for converting admission scores and admission scores between regular university admission methods in 2025. This is the first university in Hanoi to announce the difference between exam scores and academic records.
The lowest admission score for Hanoi University of Industry is 18 for all combinations, the highest is 21. The common score is 20. Specifically as follows:
The school also sets out rules for converting admission scores and admission scores between methods, in which the 2025 high school graduation exam score is the original score, the scores of the following methods are converted to the original score: transcript score (with the admission method of candidates who have won provincial-level excellent student awards with international certificates combined with academic results); HSA thinking assessment test score; TSA thinking assessment test score.
With the report card score, the school converts it to the equivalent of the 2025 high school graduation exam score according to the linearization rule for each score range (there are 30 score ranges, from 7.0 to 10 report card points, equivalent to 6 to 10 exam points). The highest difference is in the middle range (about 2 points difference), from about 8.5 - 8.59 report card points (equivalent to 6.55 exam points) to about 8.9 - 8.99 report card points (equivalent to 6.95 exam points).
The higher the score, the narrower the gap. About 9.5 - 9.59 GPA points are equivalent to 9.55 exam points. 10 GPA points are equivalent to 10 exam points. Details are in the following table:
