The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that at 1 p.m. today (October 23), the tropical depression is strong at 49 km/h, level 6, gusting to level 8 and is moving southwest at a speed of 25 km/h. Due to interaction with cold air, the tropical depression will weaken into a low pressure area in the coming hours.
Due to the influence of low pressure combined with strengthening cold air, the eastern sea of the northern East Sea has strong winds of level 6-7, gusts of level 9, and waves of 3-5 m high. Ships operating in this sea area may be affected.

In response to the tropical depression, this afternoon, the National Civil Defense Steering Committee issued a document requesting the provinces from Nghe An to Khanh Hoa to monitor forecasts, inform boat owners of dangerous areas to proactively avoid them, and maintain communication to promptly handle any bad situations that may arise. At the same time, prepare rescue vehicles when requested.
