Khanh Thy explained that the reason for not naming the album specifically was because she wanted each listener to name it with their own emotions when enjoying it because “music just needs to be real enough for us to believe, beautiful enough for us to remember” as she shared. The album also contains her artistic manifesto: “Music is not bound, but aims for freedom and diversity, sent to those who have loved, gone through the misty seasons of memories with music, and at the same time is an infinite gratitude to send to the audience - those who have accompanied and reflected emotions with me on my artistic journey”.

The album “Khanh Thy Vol.2” includes love songs from many generations, from musicians such as Minh Ky, Lam Phuong, Truong Sa, Anh Bang to contemporary compositions by Duc Tri, Viet Anh, Phan Manh Quynh, Hamlet Truong.
