Specifically, Hanoi City Police will temporarily ban and restrict vehicles from 6am to 10pm on October 25 and from 6am to 4pm on October 26.
Routes are temporarily banned and restricted for trucks with a total designed weight of 1.5 tons or more, passenger cars with 16 seats or more (except buses, garbage collection vehicles, emergency response vehicles, vehicles with security badges, vehicles of the Police, Army and other priority vehicles as prescribed by law) and restricted for other vehicles operating on some routes: Kim Ma, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Tran Duy Hung, Pham Hung (from Me Tri to Thang Long Boulevard), Do Duc Duc, Mieu Dam, Ring Road III (from Ho Tung Mau to Thanh Tri Bridge and vice versa), Thang Long Boulevard service road (from Pham Hung to Provincial Road 70 overpass).

During the above time, Hanoi City Police will organize directions for vehicles to detour and avoid temporarily prohibited and restricted areas as follows:
Vehicles from the Eastern provinces (Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh,...) to the Northern, Western, and Northwestern provinces (Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang,...) travel along the route: Thanh Tri bridge - Hanoi expressway, Bac Giang - National Highway 18 - to Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen provinces... and vice versa.
Vehicles from the Eastern provinces (Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh ...) to the Western and Northwestern provinces (Phu Tho, Son La, Dien Bien ...) travel along the route: Thanh Tri Bridge - Do Muoi - Ngoc Hoi - Phan Trong Tue - Cau Buu - Phuc La - Le Trong Tan - National Highway 6 - to the provinces of Phu Tho, Son La ... and vice versa.
Vehicles from Vo Van Kiet Street, Thang Long Bridge going towards Thang Long Avenue: follow the route Pham Van Dong - Ho Tung Mau - Cau Dien - National Highway 32 - Provincial Road 70 - to Thang Long Avenue and vice versa.
For other routes and vehicles, comply with the regulations on the operation of means of transport in Hanoi, issued under Decision No. 06/2013/QD-UBND dated January 25, 2013 of the Hanoi People's Committee (amended and supplemented by Decision No. 24/2020/QD-UBND dated October 2, 2020 of the Hanoi People's Committee) and other regulatory documents of competent authorities.
Hanoi police on duty to regulate and direct traffic on the morning of October 23.
Require all vehicles participating in traffic to voluntarily and strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and follow the instructions and traffic flow of the authorities; when encountering priority vehicles signaling priority on duty, they must promptly change direction to the nearest level crossings and intersections according to the instructions of the authorities to give way to the priority convoy.
The Department of Construction shall base on the traffic diversion notice to direct functional units to adjust the routes of passenger bus routes and limit operations on the routes according to the notice content.
Hanoi City Police Department announces to all traffic participants to know, comply, choose appropriate travel routes and support the police force in completing their tasks.
