During the April 30 and May 1 holidays, many tourists coming to Nha Trang chose the Oceanographic Museum (under the Institute of Oceanography) to visit.

According to Mr. Truong Si Hai Trinh - Deputy Head of Information and Communication Department, Institute of Oceanography , from April 30 to May 3, the Oceanographic Museum welcomed about 27,000 visitors to learn about marine biodiversity and Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands. The busiest day was May 1 with more than 9,000 visitors.
