Recently, through a review, Tien Phong Newspaper discovered a website claiming to be “Hoa Hoc Tro Library”, with the address hoahoctro.edu.vn, causing confusion with the Hoa Hoc Tro electronic page of Tien Phong Newspaper (address: https://hoahoctro.tienphong.vn/). More seriously, the above website also used the address and contact phone number of the editorial office of the Hoa Hoc Tro page - Tien Phong Newspaper to put in the footer, causing confusion for readers.
The website uses Hoa Hoc Tro's contact information but intentionally misspelled the email address.
The fake website also posted a lot of false information, causing confusion and seriously affecting the reputation of the Hoa Hoc Tro electronic website in particular and Tien Phong Newspaper in general.
For example, this fake website posted false information about Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH), causing misunderstanding in the community and damaging the reputation of the school as well as the prestige of the editorial office.
The act of impersonating the Hoa Hoc Tro electronic website by the administrators of the above fake websites has caused great harm to the legal rights and interests of Tien Phong Newspaper, seriously violated copyright laws, and may cause confusion for readers when searching for information and accessing the Hoa Hoc Tro electronic website.
Currently, Tien Phong Newspaper has reported the incident to the authorities to strictly handle acts of copyright infringement of Tien Phong Newspaper, according to current Vietnamese laws as well as international laws and practices.
