The suspect in the murder of the girl in Hanoi is Ta Duy Khanh, born in 1985, from Thai Binh province.

Regarding the case of people discovering the victim's body in the Red River area in Bat Trang commune, Gia Lam district, on October 15, Hanoi City Police arrested the suspect while he was hiding at his private home in Thai Binh province.
The suspect was identified as Ta Duy Khanh, born in 1985, from Thai Binh province, residing in Ocean Park Urban Area, Gia Lam District, Hanoi.
When surrounded by the police, suspect Khanh used a knife to commit suicide but failed. Immediately afterwards, the suspect was taken to the hospital by police officers and is being treated under strict police supervision.
Previously, on October 13, people discovered some body parts of the victim on the sandbank of the Red River, in Bat Trang commune, Gia Lam district.
Through an autopsy, the police determined that the victim was a female. Later, the authorities discovered the remaining body parts of the victim at another location.
Upon receiving the news, the Director of Hanoi City Police Department directed the Criminal Police Department to coordinate with Gia Lam District Police and professional units to investigate, verify the victim's identity, clarify the cause of the case, and arrest the suspect.
It is known that the victim is a very young girl, who was in the Top 3 of the 2022 Vietnam Ao Dai beauty contest.
The case is being urgently investigated and clarified by the police to be strictly handled according to the law.
