The Western floating market suddenly appeared right at Van Thanh metro station (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), recreating the scene of buying and selling on the river in the world's most unique culinary festival in Ho Chi Minh City, making diners admire and excitedly check-in.

On the evening of March 27, the Saigontourist Group 2025 Food and Culture Festival attracted a large number of diners on the opening day at Van Thanh tourist area. This is the food festival that has been honored as the most unique food festival in the world for 2 consecutive years.

This year's festival has many innovations compared to previous years, including the Western floating market recreated on Van Thanh Lake, located right at Van Thanh metro station, making visitors admire and excitedly check-in.

The festival takes place from 3pm to 10pm from March 27 to 30, with a ticket price of 200,000 VND/person. With this amount, visitors will have a gate ticket and coupons worth 10,000 VND and 20,000 VND. The total value of the coupons and gate tickets is 200,000 VND, equal to the ticket price.

The floating market has nearly 20 boats that recreate the scene of trading on the river. Here, people can buy fruits, corn, beans, rice, and even vermicelli noodles sold on boats along the lake. More specifically, the floating market scene looks straight through the Landmark 81 building and the metro station - symbols of a dynamic, modern city.

Ms. Hoai Thanh (24 years old, living in Phu Nhuan District) said that she has been to this food festival 3 times and each year she is more surprised by the scale and care of each booth. "The booths invest in everything from food to costumes, everything is carefully taken care of, the cool space, reasonable prices are the plus points of the festival. I will continue to come back on weekends," Ms. Thanh said.
