On the evening of March 27, the Saigontourist Group 2025 Food and Culture Festival attracted a large number of diners on the opening day at Van Thanh tourist area. This is the culinary festival that has been honored as the most unique culinary festival in the world for 2 consecutive years.
This year's festival has many innovations compared to previous years, including the Western floating market recreated on Van Thanh Lake, located right at Van Thanh metro station, making visitors admire and excitedly check-in.
The festival takes place from 3pm to 10pm from March 27 to March 30, with a ticket price of VND200,000 per person. With this amount, visitors will have a gate ticket and coupons worth VND10,000 and VND20,000. The total value of the coupons and gate tickets is VND200,000, equal to the ticket price.

The floating market has nearly 20 boats recreating the scene of trading on the river. Here, people can shop for fruits, corn, beans, rice, and even vermicelli sold on boats along the lake. More specifically, the floating market scene has a direct view of the Landmark 81 building and the metro station - symbols of a dynamic, modern city.

Saigontourist Group's 2025 Food and Drink Culture Festival surpasses previous festivals in terms of the number of dishes and drinks, with over 600 delicious dishes selected and refined from all three regions of the country, local products.

People excitedly checked in at the area recreating the floating market of the Western river region. Ms. Hoai Thanh (24 years old, living in Phu Nhuan District) said that she has been to this food festival 3 times and each year she is more surprised by the scale and care of each booth. "The booths invest in everything from food to costumes, everything is carefully taken care of, the cool space, reasonable prices are the plus points of the festival. I will continue to come back on weekends," Ms. Thanh said.

The organizers hope that the festival will become an international culinary cultural event, contributing to promoting the image of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam to domestic tourists and international friends.

At the festival, diners can enjoy nearly 600 dishes and drinks from the North - Central - South such as: hell rice, Cao Bang corn rolls, sticky rice with palm leaves, vermicelli with squid rolls, Quan Ba thang co, grilled lamb ribs with leaves and stir-fried with monitor lizards, Nam Pho rice noodles, spicy crab pho, clay-grilled chicken...

Saigontourist Group Food and Culture Festival 2025 is organized by Saigon Tourist Corporation (Saigontourist Group), with the participation of 4-5 star hotels, resorts, and restaurants belonging to the Saigontourist Group system in Ho Chi Minh City and provinces and cities nationwide.

When the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line was put into operation, with the Van Thanh metro station located right at the Van Thanh tourist area where the festival takes place. Therefore, this is the first time after 4 years of organization, the festival has two differently decorated gates.
