Caught 92-year-old woman storing heroin for use

On June 12, information from the Thanh Hoa Border Guard Command said that the forces of Tam Chung Border Guard Station (located in Tam Chung commune, Muong Lat district, Thanh Hoa; under the Thanh Hoa Border Guard Command) had just caught a 92-year-old woman in the act of illegally storing heroin.

Previously, at around 9:00 p.m. on June 11, at On village, the Tam Chung Border Guard Station discovered and caught Ms. Thao Thi Song (92 years old, residing in On village, Tam Chung commune) in the act of storing heroin.

The authorities seized a small bag (unknown weight) of heroin from Thao Thi Song. The authorities then searched her residence and seized two more small bags (also unknown weight) containing heroin.

At the authorities, suspect Thao Thi Song confessed to buying the heroin to hide and use for herself.

The case is being handled by Tam Chung Border Guard Station according to regulations.
