Bayern Munich have officially become the 2024-25 Bundesliga champions two rounds early after Bayer Leverkusen were held to a 2-2 draw by Freiburg in the late match.

This result helped the Bavarian Tigers officially win the 34th prestigious Silver Plate in history and the 12th title in the last 13 seasons, a record that affirms this team's position as the king of German football.

With Harry Kane, he has broken the "curse" to win a collective title for the first time in his career, after finishing second three times with Tottenham and third once with Bayern.

Join FC Bayern as we look back at seven key moments on Bayern's 2024-25 Bundesliga journey to reach their 34th Silver Plate.

Matchday 2: Müller's moment against Freiburg

After a hard-fought 3-2 win over Wolfsburg in Bayern's Bundesliga opener, the first home game of the season turned into a real celebration as Bayern beat Freiburg 2-0.

The match took on added significance as Thomas Müller, who reached 710 appearances for the club – to become Bayern's all-time appearance record holder – marked the occasion by scoring the second goal.

Matchday 3: Top of the table in Kiel

Bayern got off to the perfect start against Holstein Kiel as Jamal Musiala scored the quickest away goal after just 15 seconds.

Bayern won that match 6-1 to send Vincent Kompany's team to the top of the table for the first time this season.

Round 10 match: Musiala's "magic" helps Bayern create distance

Musiala continued to create "specialness" with his "magic" to help Bayern win on a cold afternoon in Hamburg.

With agility and finesse, Musiala unleashed a shot from more than 25m to score the only goal to help the home team beat St.Pauli 1-0, thereby creating a 5-point gap over the competition.

Matchday 15: Victory over Leipzig to start the race

Bayern said goodbye to 2024 with a resounding 5-1 home win over RB Leipzig, a result that extended the Bavarians' lead over defending champions Leverkusen to eight points.

Round 22 Match: Hold off the Challenger

The gap was still eight points when Bayern came to the BayArena on matchday 22. Under the tremendous pressure from the fans and the home team's desperate need for points, coach Kompany proactively applied an unfamiliar style of play: retreating and defending.

With that style of play, Bayern nullified Werkself's attacks to earn an away point to maintain their position at the top.

Match Round 30: Decisive result between injuries

Bayern's 4-0 win over Heidenheim came at a difficult time but proved a huge step towards reclaiming the Meisterschale, especially as they were hit by injuries and had just been knocked out of the Champions League by Inter Milan.

With Leverkusen drawing 1-1 with St. Pauli, Bayern solidified their lead at the top with 8 points with 4 matches left to play.

Round of 32: Celebrations postponed in Leipzig

A 3-3 draw in Leipzig prevented Harry Kane from celebrating his first title on Saturday night.

However, just 26 hours later, with Leverkusen slipping up in Freiburg, the Meisterschale Silver Plate returned to record holder Bayern Munich.
