Closing Ceremony of the Training and Knowledge Update Course for Central Party Committee Members

On the afternoon of September 29, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with the Central Organizing Committee to organize the closing ceremony of the Training and Knowledge Update Course for members of the 13th Party Central Committee (Third Class).

Member of the Politburo , Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Central Organization Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of the Training Course attended and gave a speech.

Also attending were Politburo member, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of the Training Course.

Praising and congratulating the trainees who have completed the training program, updating their knowledge, and delivering the closing speech, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Truong Thi Mai stated that the Training Course was held in the middle of the 13th Congress term and the Party Congresses at all levels. This is an important time to look back at the past half-way point, the results achieved, limitations, and lessons learned to strive to achieve the highest level of the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

There are less than two years left to prepare for Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress in the context of a rapidly changing and complicated world situation and a number of internal difficulties and challenges. Therefore, it requires leaders, Party committees and organizations at all levels to urgently, uphold the sense of responsibility, make efforts, and create a solid foundation in all aspects to successfully organize the Party Congress - the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat emphasized.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai believes that the topics reported by senior Party leaders and leading domestic and international experts will truly provide trainees with useful and practical content and information, thereby enhancing their responsibility, enthusiasm, political courage, exemplary behavior, not being afraid of difficulties and challenges, innovation, creativity, proactively handling problems effectively, promoting the development of their localities, agencies and units, and excellently completing the tasks entrusted to them by the Party, State and People.

The summary report of the class presented by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, said that the third class for members of the Party Central Committee included 09 topics, including 08 domestic topics and 01 international topic.

The topics are all strategic, important, fundamental and urgent issues of our country in the current period, including issues on Party building and rectification, improving the Party's leadership and governance capacity; building and perfecting the rule of law State, building the legal system in the new situation; on the Socio-Economic Development Strategy; the National Defense Strategy, the National Defense Strategy, the National Security Strategy; on foreign affairs in the new situation; on summarizing practices and researching theories to serve the completion of the innovation policy, building and protecting the Fatherland./.
