Khanh Hoa General Hospital exchanges expertise on spinal disease treatment with Japanese experts

On November 10, Khanh Hoa General Hospital welcomed expert, Dr. Masatoshi Teraguchi - a member of the Japanese Spine Society to discuss expertise in treating spinal diseases, including cervical spine.

At the meeting, the team of doctors from the Spinal Surgery Department and Dr. Masatoshi Teraguchi updated the advanced techniques in surgical treatment of spinal diseases, especially severe and difficult cervical spinal cord diseases. At the same time, they discussed and learned about the disease directly on a number of patients with spinal cord diseases being treated at the hospital, including some cases caused by traffic accidents.

Established in 2009, the Department of Spinal Surgery of Khanh Hoa General Hospital is one of the hospital's key specialties. The department has implemented many specialized techniques. On average, the department performs more than 100 surgeries per month.
