Military Hospital 121 examined and gave medicine to nearly 300 people in Dong Hung commune.

On November 26, in a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the armed forces of Military Region 9 (December 10, 1945 - December 10, 2025), Military Hospital 121 (Logistics - Technical Department of Military Region 9) organized a journey to the source, providing medical examination and free medicine to the people of Dong Hung commune, An Giang province.

Dong Hung is a revolutionary base area, once the base of Military Region 9 during the resistance war against the US. The area is currently formed on the basis of merging Dong Hung A commune and Van Khanh Dong commune (An Minh district , former Kien Giang province).

The people here mainly produce agriculture, grow rice and raise shrimp and crabs. In recent years, the socio -economic situation of the commune has had many positive changes, traffic is connected, the average income reaches over 80 million VND/person/year.

During the working trip, the medical team from Military Hospital 121 examined, provided health consultations and distributed 300 doses of medicine to people.
