On the afternoon of November 27, the People's Committee of An Giang province coordinated with the Administrative Court of Kandal province, Kingdom of Cambodia to organize a conference to review the results of cooperation in the first 6 months of 2025 and the direction of cooperation for the following year.

At the conference, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Ho Van Mung congratulated the socio -economic development achievements of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Kandal province in the first 6 months of 2025, and informed about An Giang province after the merger and implementation of the 2-level government model; the socio-economic situation of the province in the first 10 months of 2025 with many sectors and fields growing highly compared to the same period. In particular, the economic growth rate (GRDP) of An Giang province in the first 10 months of 2025 reached 7.85%, ranking first in the Mekong Delta region, and 19th in the country.

To maintain the achieved results, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Ho Van Mung suggested that the two provinces continue to strengthen cooperation, closely coordinate and agree on cooperation directions in the following year. Specifically: Continue to seriously and effectively implement legal documents on the border signed by the two countries; strengthen the work of protecting and maintaining social order and safety on the border; closely coordinate, grasp the border security situation, prevent and combat cross-border crimes, prevent illegal entry and exit, etc.
