Coach Shin Tae-yong holds two positions at the same time

Coach Shin Tae-yong is considered a legend of Seongnam FC. This is the only club that the former Korean national team coach played for during his playing career, from 1992 to 2004. When he switched to coaching, Coach Shin Tae-yong was also the head coach of Seongnam FC for 4 years, from 2008 to 2012. Mr. Shin brought Seongnam FC two titles, including the AFC Champions League championship (Asian Cup C1) in 2010 and the Korean FA Cup in 2011.
In addition to serving as CEO of Seongnam FC, coach Shin Tae-yong also serves as vice president of the Korea Football Association (FKA) along with former Vietnam national team coach Park Hang-seo. Park is responsible for supporting the Korean national teams at all levels, while Shin Tae-yong is appointed to support the KFA's external cooperation.
