Stopped by traffic police for administrative check, man posts on Facebook insulting traffic police

On October 1, 2024, Ky Anh Town Police ( Ha Tinh ) issued a decision to administratively fine VVT ​​(born in 1986, residing in Ky Long ward, Ky Anh town) 7.5 million VND for the act of "Providing, sharing fake information, false information, distorting, slandering, insulting the reputation of agencies, organizations, honor and dignity of individuals" on cyberspace.

It is known that due to frustration because the Ky Anh town traffic police stopped a vehicle to check administrative procedures on the evening of September 25, on September 27, 2024, through the Facebook account "Vo Tuong", VVT posted content insulting the Ky Anh town traffic police.

During the working process with the authorities, VVT cooperated, honestly declared and admitted the violation.

VVT's behavior violated the provisions of Point a, Clause 1, Article 101, Decree 15/2020/ND-CP dated February 3, 2020, stipulating administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of post, telecommunications, radio frequencies, information technology and electronic transactions.

Ky Anh town police administratively fined Mr. VVT 7.5 million VND.
