On the afternoon of January 16, comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a meeting with a delegation of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group led by Mr. Le Manh Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, who came to visit, wish the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Hoa province a Happy New Year and give support for building houses for poor households in the province.

On behalf of the working delegation, Mr. Le Manh Hung, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, quickly informed the provincial leaders of the outstanding results of the Group's production and business results in 2024, with very impressive figures: total revenue for the first time exceeded 1 million billion VND, paid to the state budget 165 trillion VND, contributed to social security more than 700 billion VND. Mr. Le Manh Hung sincerely thanked the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Hoa province for always accompanying, supporting and creating favorable conditions for the Group and its affiliated units to effectively implement investment, production and business activities in the province.

On this occasion, the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group donated 2 billion VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households and policy families in the province.

In particular, the Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Plant, of which the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group is a member in the joint venture, contributed about 30% of the province's total budget revenue last year, helping the province achieve a total budget revenue of over 57 trillion VND for the first time.

Briefing the delegation on the main features of the province's socio-economic situation, emphasizing 5 potentials and outstanding strengths in various fields, and frankly pointing out the difficulties and challenges facing the province's development, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh hoped that in the coming time, Thanh Hoa would continue to receive the attention, companionship and support of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, both in economic development and social security work. The Provincial Party Secretary sincerely thanked the meaningful gift that the Group gave to Thanh Hoa province right before the traditional New Year of the nation, contributing to the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by 2025.
