Tourist destinations strive to reach the finish line early

In the last months of 2025, tourist destinations in the province are bustling to welcome visitors to experience the autumn - winter tourism program. With efforts to renew products and promote tourism stimulus, Thanh Hoa tourism has identified this as an acceleration phase to reach the finish line soon, while strongly spreading the message "Fragrance and colors of the four seasons".

Sam Son coastal tourism urban area continues to lead with a series of stimulus programs, accommodation service discounts of up to 40%, along with a variety of high-class resort experience combos combined with health care. Tourism service businesses in Sam Son and South Sam Son wards coordinate with tourism businesses to organize cultural events, sea sports, music festivals... to create a bustling atmosphere and attract visitors in the last months of the year. Recently, at the Vlasta - Sam Son International Beach Resort Complex, the Vlasta Race - South Sam Son 2025 took place, with the participation of nearly 3,000 runners and a large number of fans. Within the framework of the Vlasta Race, many activities took place such as: check-in with the sea symbol, physical games, music... attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate. In addition, fishing experience programs, night fishing, seafood market tours, check-in tours at the Sea Square, walking street, Sun World Water Park... also continue to be promoted on social networking platforms. Thanks to that, the number of visitors to Sam Son is still maintaining a fairly high growth rate.

At Lam Kinh National Special Historical Relic Site, in 9 months, it has welcomed over 210 thousand visitors, including nearly 1,500 international visitors. In preparation for the upcoming Lam Kinh Festival (August 21-22 of the lunar calendar), the management board is actively beautifying the landscape, pruning trees, cleaning the environment... and ensuring conditions for welcoming visitors. The automatic explanation system and exhibition space for artifacts have been upgraded to improve the visitor experience. In addition, souvenir stalls and folk cuisine will also increase promotional activities and introduce local specialties. This is an approach to both stimulate demand and preserve traditional cultural values, creating livelihoods for local people. According to the Head of the Lam Kinh Historical Relic Management Board, Ho Ha Hai: “One of the particularly important events in the upcoming October is the Lam Kinh Festival. The relic is expected to welcome thousands of locals and tourists to participate in the festival, offer incense, and visit the landscape. With the goal of welcoming 320,000 visitors in 2025, along with the "peak" occasion before, during and after the upcoming festival, sightseeing activities combined with experiential education for students, in conjunction with travel agencies to exploit domestic heritage tours will also continue to be promoted and implemented effectively.”

At the Ho Dynasty Citadel Cultural Heritage destination, along with sightseeing activities, the program "Ho Dynasty Citadel - 7 years of capital - 2 dynasties - 1 destination" and the opening of the exhibition to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day are expected to be held next November. Here, a multilingual commentary system, specialized exhibition areas on stone architecture and Ho Dynasty culture will be added, contributing to refreshing the destination experience. In particular, cultural events, festivals, tourism and traditional crafts in the surrounding area are expected to create a strong attraction for Ho Dynasty Citadel in the last months of the year. In addition, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center will cooperate with travel companies to organize tours and routes connecting Ho Dynasty Citadel with cultural and ecological tourism destinations in the Western region to diversify the experience for visitors. According to Mr. Nguyen Ba Linh, Director of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center: “Up to now, we have welcomed over 180,000 visitors, reaching 80% of the plan. To achieve the set goal, from now until the end of the year, the destination will continue to coordinate with schools to organize heritage education programs and thematic activities to attract visitors. The focus is to renew the destination with experiential activities imbued with the cultural and historical values ​​of the destination.”

Along with the stimulus activities at the destination, the province has been actively promoting its image in key markets such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, the northern mountainous provinces and Northeast Asian countries.
