Tourist destinations are striving to reach their goals ahead of schedule.

In the final months of 2025, tourist destinations in the province are bustling with visitors coming to experience the autumn-winter tourism program. With efforts to innovate products and boost tourism demand, Thanh Hoa tourism identifies this as a crucial period to accelerate progress towards its goals, while also strongly spreading the message of "The Beauty of Four Seasons".

Sam Son coastal tourist area continues to lead with a series of promotional programs, offering discounts of up to 40% on accommodation services, along with diverse high-end resort and wellness experience packages. Tourism businesses in Sam Son and South Sam Son wards, in collaboration with tourism enterprises, organize cultural and sporting events, music festivals, etc., to create a vibrant atmosphere and attract tourists in the final months of the year. Recently, the Vlasta Race - South Sam Son 2025 took place at the Vlasta International Beach Resort Complex in Sam Son, with the participation of nearly 3,000 runners and numerous supporters. The Vlasta Race also featured various activities such as photo opportunities with the iconic sea symbol, physical games, and music performances, attracting a large number of locals and tourists. In addition, programs offering experiences such as fishing, night fishing, visiting seafood markets, and "check-in" tours at the beach square, pedestrian streets, and Sun World Water Park continue to be promoted on social media platforms. As a result, the number of visitors to Sam Son continues to maintain a fairly high growth rate.

At the Lam Kinh National Special Historical Site, over 210,000 visitors were welcomed in the past nine months, including nearly 1,500 international tourists. In preparation for the upcoming Lam Kinh Festival (August 21-22, lunar calendar), the management board is actively improving the landscape, trimming trees, cleaning up the environment, and ensuring all necessary conditions for welcoming visitors. The automated audio guide system and exhibition spaces are being upgraded to enhance the visitor experience. In addition, souvenir and traditional food stalls will be increasing their promotional activities to introduce local specialties. This approach aims to both stimulate demand and preserve traditional cultural values, creating livelihoods for local people. According to the Head of the Lam Kinh Historical Relic Management Board, Ho Ha Hai: “One of the particularly important events in the upcoming October is the Lam Kinh Festival. It is expected that thousands of locals and tourists will come to participate in the festival, offer incense, and enjoy the scenery. With the goal of welcoming 320,000 visitors in 2025, along with the upcoming “peak” period before, during, and after the festival, activities combining sightseeing with educational experiences for students, and linking with travel businesses to exploit domestic heritage tours will continue to be promoted and effectively implemented.”

At the Ho Dynasty Citadel Cultural Heritage site, alongside sightseeing activities, a program titled "Ho Dynasty Citadel - 7 Years as Capital - 2 Dynasties - 1 Destination" and the opening of an exhibition celebrating Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day are planned for November. Here, a multilingual audio guide system and thematic exhibitions on stone architecture and the culture of the Ho Dynasty will be added, contributing to a refreshed destination experience. In particular, cultural events, festivals, tourism, and traditional crafts from the surrounding areas are expected to strongly attract visitors to the Ho Dynasty Citadel in the final months of the year. Furthermore, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center will collaborate with travel companies to organize tours connecting the Ho Dynasty Citadel with cultural and eco-tourism destinations in the Mekong Delta to diversify experiences for visitors. According to Mr. Nguyen Ba Linh, Director of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center: “To date, we have welcomed over 180,000 visitors, reaching 80% of our target. To achieve our goals, from now until the end of the year, the destination will continue to cooperate with schools to organize heritage education programs and thematic activities that attract visitors. The focus will be on revitalizing the destination with experiential activities that are rich in cultural and historical value.”

Lam Kinh Historical Site - a favorite destination for many tourists during the last months of the year.

Alongside activities to stimulate demand at destinations, the province has been actively promoting its image in key markets such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, the northern mountainous provinces, and Northeast Asian countries. On the "Thanh Hoa Tourism - Four Seasons' Flavors" fanpage, many professionally produced videos promoting Sam Son, Lam Kinh, Ho Dynasty Citadel, Pu Luong... and exploring local cuisine and specialties are linked to the "check-in" tourism trend.

"Reviews" from young people. This is one of the factors that helps Thanh Hoa maintain its popularity and attract the attention of tourists during the autumn and winter seasons.

Beyond simply focusing on visitor numbers and revenue, destinations in the province, especially key tourism hubs for relaxation, culture, and community-based ecotourism, are concentrating on renewing their products and affirming their brand and position as destinations. Alongside this, the off-season stimulus programs implemented by tourism service businesses are expected to create a positive effect, helping Thanh Hoa tourism achieve its goals by 2025.
