
On the morning of November 20, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Cong Anh, Head of La Eê Border Guard Station, said that at around 0:15 a.m. the same day, officers from the Military-Civilian Medical Station in conjunction with La Eê commune promptly organized emergency aid and provided safe transfer support for a pregnant woman in complicated flood conditions, with traffic being cut off.
The pregnant woman is Ms. Poloong Thi My V. (Pa Oi village, La Ee commune), 36 weeks pregnant. Before that, at midnight, Ms. V. showed signs of labor so her family took her to the La Ee commune Military-Civilian Medical Station for assistance in giving birth.
Through examination, the military doctor found that the pregnant woman had signs of difficult labor and a high risk of complications, so he immediately contacted Cha Val General Clinic for professional coordination.
In the context of heavy rain and many landslides, La Ee Border Guard Station mobilized 10 officers and soldiers, coordinated with the military and civilian medical station and the commune militia to clear the road and carry a stretcher to take the pregnant woman through the isolated sections.

After crossing the dangerous route, the pregnant woman was received by the ambulance of the Nam Giang International Border Guard Station and continued to be transferred to Cha Val General Clinic.
Here, doctors from the Military and Civilian Medical Station, La Êê Commune, and doctors from the Cha Val General Clinic successfully assisted in delivering the baby. The mother gave birth to a baby girl weighing 3.4 kg at 8:30 am.
Currently, the health of mother and child is stable and continues to receive care.
