Binh Dinh speeds up progress of social housing projects

Binh Dinh requested the investor of Tan Dai Minh 2 Social Housing Project, Housing in the planning of Binh Dinh province's trade union institutional area, to urgently complete construction in 2024.

Regarding the target of completing 1,400 social housing apartments in 2024, recently, the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee requested investors of social housing projects including Tan Dai Minh Investment Company Limited and IEC Construction and Mechanical and Electrical Investment Joint Stock Company to focus resources, urgently deploy investment and construction to complete in 2024, put into use to ensure the set target.

Previously, according to the target registered by Binh Dinh province with the Ministry of Construction , the number of social housing apartments completed in 2024 includes 622 apartments of Block B, C at An Phu Thinh Social Housing Apartment Project (An Phu Thinh Construction Investment and Tourism Development Joint Stock Company); 590 apartments of Block C2, D at Tan Dai Minh 2 Social Housing Project (Tan Dai Minh Investment Company Limited); 275 apartments of CT1 Building at the Housing Project under the planning of Binh Dinh Provincial Trade Union Institutional Area (IEC Construction and Electromechanical Investment Joint Stock Company).

Regarding the Tan Dai Minh 2 Social Housing Project, the Chairman of Binh Dinh Province assigned the People's Committee of Quy Nhon City to facilitate, guide, and support the investor to carry out the procedures for connecting the infrastructure of the social housing project according to regulations to be completed in September 2024. Regarding this project, the investor mentioned that it is expected to complete and put into use phase 1 with 590 apartments in the third quarter of 2024.

In addition, for a series of social housing projects such as the Social Housing Apartment Project in Area C of the North Ha Thanh River Urban-Commercial Area; Long Van Social Housing Project; Pisico Social Housing Project; Binh Dinh Maritime Social Housing Project; Phu Tai Loc Social Housing Apartment Project; Van Phat Social Housing Project; Social Housing Project in Bong Son Ward, investors are required to focus resources, urgently complete documents and procedures to start construction according to the approved schedule.

Recently, many problems related to the implementation of social housing projects have also been directed to be resolved by the Chairman of Binh Dinh province.

Specifically, An Phu Thinh Construction Investment Development and Tourism Joint Stock Company proposed to apply for pink books for residents of An Phu Thinh Social Housing Apartment Complex.

The Nhon Phu 2 social housing project of Solrise Nhon Phu Company Limited has problems related to compensation costs, site clearance and relocation of the 22 kV power system within the project boundary.

Regarding the exemption of land use fees at the Nhon Phu 2 Social Housing Project, the Social Housing Area Project in Area 1, Dong Da Ward (Phu My - Quy Nhon Construction Investment Company Limited) and other social housing projects, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province requires implementation in accordance with the provisions of the law on land, housing and current regulations of the State; at the same time, assign the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to be responsible for notifying and providing specific instructions to investors of social housing projects to carry out procedures for exemption and reduction of land use fees.

Regarding site clearance, the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee requested that for new social housing projects arising in the province in the coming time, the units in charge of site clearance shall carry out procedures to propose investment policies for the Infrastructure Construction Investment Project and site clearance for social housing projects to the Department of Planning and Investment for submission to competent authorities for decision in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Public Investment as a basis for implementation.

The goal is to ensure the delivery of clean land to investors according to regulations.
