EVNHANOI has identified two key areas for priority power supply: the National Convention Center - where the ceremony takes place, and the hotels serving the accommodation of delegates and international guests. These locations are supplied with electricity by two independent grid sources, ensuring a flexible power supply plan that can be switched immediately when an incident occurs.

During the event, EVNHANOI will continuously reduce the supply of high, medium and low voltage grid electricity from 10:00 p.m. on October 24, 2025 to 6:00 a.m. on October 27, 2025 and during the preliminary and final rehearsal periods. There will be a plan to ensure continuous and safe electricity, with backup for the event venue and the accommodation facilities for the event delegates.

At the National Convention Center, the power system is designed with multiple backup layers such as 6 Diesel generators with capacity from 350kVA to 2000kVA and 120kVA UPS for the large hall, ensuring the entire lighting system, sound, LED screen and important equipment operate stably even when there is an incident. The transformer stations supplying outdoor lighting are equipped with low-voltage ATS to automatically switch power, helping to maintain the lighting of the square area, internal roads and the delegate reception area.

EVNHANOI also closely coordinated with the management unit in surveying, installing and operating additional backup equipment, especially high-capacity UPS, to meet the strict technical requirements of the international event hosted by the United Nations.

Along with that, EVNHANOI also deployed 24/24 hours on duty at transformer stations, control centers and key areas, ready to handle any arising situations. The entire power grid system is reviewed, inspected and technically maintained to eliminate potential risks of incidents. Units under the Corporation also increased inspection of power grid corridor safety, prepared materials, spare equipment and fire prevention and fighting means, ensuring timely response to unusual situations.

With careful preparation and a high sense of responsibility, EVNHANOI affirms its determination to ensure safe, stable and continuous power supply, contributing to the overall success of the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, affirming the capacity of the capital's electricity sector in serving international political and diplomatic events.
