According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Phuoc province are both meaningful in educating revolutionary traditions and expressing gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of our army and people in the resistance war against the US to save the country, contributing to the construction of Binh Phuoc homeland. At the same time, the activities in the celebration also create an atmosphere of excitement and solidarity, adding strength for Binh Phuoc and the whole country to enter a new era, an era of national growth.

Binh Phuoc province was liberated on March 23, 1975, contributing to the army and people of the southern provinces and the main army corps advancing to liberate Saigon (April 30, 1975), completely completing the cause of national liberation and national reunification. From a poor province with a small economic scale, the proportion of agriculture and forestry in 1997 (the year the province was re-established) accounted for more than 70%, to date, the scale of Binh Phuoc's economy has reached 115,357 billion VND, an increase of 92 times.

The GRDP growth rate over the past 28 years has always been high compared to the national average. In 2024, the province recorded a GRDP growth rate of 9.32%, the highest in the Southeast region and 11th in the country. Budget revenue reached 11,250 billion VND, an increase of more than 65 times compared to 1997.
