Thai Nguyen newly established 25 cooperatives

In the first 6 months of 2025, Thai Nguyen province established 25 new cooperatives, reaching 83% of the yearly plan. Of these, 24 cooperatives operate in the agricultural sector and 1 non-agricultural cooperative.

The Provincial Cooperative Union coordinated with the People's Committee of Tan Linh commune (Dai Tu) to propagate and support households to establish cooperatives.

Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Cooperative Union has coordinated with relevant sectors and local authorities to promote propaganda and mobilization, and at the same time deploy many support solutions to promote collective economic development. Thanks to that, many production and business establishments and people have boldly established cooperatives, expanded their scale and diversified their industries. Newly established cooperatives have proactively invested in production, improved productivity and product quality, built brands and expanded their consumption markets.

Up to now, the whole province has 809 cooperatives (including 565 agricultural cooperatives, 241 non-agricultural cooperatives and 3 people's credit funds), of which 560 cooperatives operate effectively, accounting for nearly 70%.

Cooperatives in the province currently create jobs for over 42,000 members and workers. The average income in agricultural cooperatives is from 4-4.5 million VND/person/month; and in non-agricultural cooperatives is from 5-5.5 million VND/person/month.
