This is not the first time Binh Tinh has participated in a play because she previously made a splash with her role as an autistic girl in the play Fragment by director - Meritorious Artist Le Nguyen Dat and won the Gold Medal at the National Drama Festival in 2021.
During this time, although she was very busy with projects of the Huynh Long Opera Troupe, of which she was the leader, as well as filming schedules in Ho Chi Minh City or provincial shows, when she received the script for Murder on a Moonless Night , Binh Tinh said she read it in one sitting and arranged to participate immediately.
According to Binh Tinh: "This is a good role with a completely new character, and it is a play adapted from a reformed opera script, so Binh Tinh really likes it because of the closeness. Binh Tinh and the crew have been practicing tirelessly for a long time... It can be said that this is a very difficult role that Binh Tinh has taken on for the first time on stage. Perhaps because she is so immersed in the role, many times after the performance, this character still haunts Binh Tinh...".

The play is set in the 1960s, in which Binh Tinh plays the role of Han, a beautiful young lady. Han falls in love with a talented, gentle musician (played by Bao Kun) and from there discovers some strange things... Han's parents and her lover used to be enemies...
The audience has long been familiar with the image of Binh Tinh as a classical opera artist, a talented martial artist of the Huynh Long Opera Troupe, a descendant of the famous Duc Loi - Bach Mai duo. Binh Tinh herself has always been used to singing, acting, and dancing on stage... When moving to dialogue drama, without singing, although she has tried it before, it is still extremely difficult and stressful for Binh Tinh... Furthermore, the role of Han is both tragic and comical, the character's personality changes constantly, plus the techniques of ghost drama are even more new to this opera actress. But with her dedicated practice, Binh Tinh is waiting for the audience's feelings for this new role.

The ghost play Murder on a Moonless Night (original play: Then 30 Years Later, author: Ha Trieu - Hoa Phuong, adapted by: Ngoc Duyen - Lam Nguyen - Trang Ten, director: Ngoc Duyen) will officially premiere at Truong Hung Minh Art Stage, Ho Chi Minh City on the evenings of November 18 and 19.
