Hai Phong launches night tour 'Sacred Marks of Hang Kenh'

Hai Phong launched the night tour 'Sacred Marks of Hang Kenh' - a tourism product that both honors cultural heritage and applies modern technology to attract tourists.

On June 28, the night tour "Hang Kenh Sacred Marks", the first night tourism product of Hai Phong City, was officially launched to the public at Hang Kenh Communal House. The event was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong, Hai Phong Museum and Library in collaboration with L'Héritage Group.

"The Sacred Mark of Hang Kenh" promises to become a new tourist attraction, attracting visitors this summer. The tour aims to honor the unique cultural and artistic values ​​of Hang Kenh communal house, a national relic over 300 years old, where the National Father Ngo Quyen - the national hero who opened the era of national independence is worshiped.

The program combines folk performing arts, traditional rituals and modern technology, including typical activities: water puppetry performance on the crescent lake; incense offering ceremony to pay tribute to King Ngo; traditional art performances such as cheo, ca tru, hat dang van, especially hat cua dinh, a type recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Protection since 2009.

Visitors can also experience culinary arts , calligraphy, Dong Ho painting, and shopping for traditional handicrafts.

The highlight of the tour is the 3D mapping show "Waves of Bach Dang, the heroic spirit of Ngo Quyen" produced by L'Héritage Group. The high-tech film recreates the life and achievements of Ngo Quyen through 5 segments, from the image of Duong Lam ancient village, the scene of military training, the erection of stakes, to the grand scene of the historic Bach Dang naval battle.

"The Waves of Bach Dang and the Heroic Spirit of Ngo Quyen" conveys to visitors the story of the life and glorious feats of King Ngo, and is the highlight of the night tour "The Sacred Mark of Hang Kenh"
