On October 26, in Ha Long City, Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, on behalf of the Politburo, chaired the Conference to announce and present the Politburo's decision on the transfer and appointment of Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, on behalf of the Politburo, presented the decision to transfer and appoint comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

Attending the announcement conference, on the Central side, there was comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee and members of the Organizing Committee's working delegation.

According to Decision No. 1619-QD/TW dated October 25, 2024 of the Politburo, the decision to transfer and appoint comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, to cease participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and cease holding the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; transfer and assign to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission congratulated the new Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

He emphasized: The new Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee is considered a cadre with capacity, experience, scientific thinking and working methods, democracy, determination, and closeness to the grassroots. In the assigned positions, he has always completed his tasks excellently, making important contributions to the overall achievements and results of the agencies he has worked for.

This requires the Party Committee and provincial government to seriously look back, propose solutions to promote economic development, attract domestic and foreign investment, and develop specific, key goals; the biggest challenge of Quang Ninh is still high-quality human resources; continue to unite and focus on solving existing problems.

Quang Ninh is one of the economic locomotives, so it is necessary to focus and make the greatest effort in promoting economic restructuring, protecting the environment, prioritizing the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure, especially information technology, seaports, logistics... paying attention to the development of human culture, ensuring social security, narrowing regional gaps, consolidating the great solidarity of ethnic groups; promoting collective intelligence in successfully implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress...
