Ministry of Public Security works with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on digital transformation

Overview of the working session.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired the reception for the delegation. Also attending was comrade Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

At the meeting, delegates visited and watched a film introducing the National Population Data Center; and listened to an introduction to the functions of the Digital Map Room of the National Population Data Center.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Do Van Chien emphasized that based on the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Front's Charter of Operations with 7 key tasks, the most important goal and task is to build and consolidate the great national unity bloc. In addition, gathering the opinions of the people and voters nationwide to send their thoughts and aspirations to the Party and State, acting as a bridge between the Party, State and the people.

In addition, a very important task of the Vietnam Fatherland Front today is to implement the policies of the Party and State, together with Party committees and authorities at all levels, to care for and ensure social security for the people. To carry out these tasks well, the Vietnam Fatherland Front hopes that the Ministry of Public Security will help and support the Vietnam Fatherland Front in carrying out digital transformation and building the Vietnam Fatherland Front Database, thereby helping the Vietnam Fatherland Front to carry out its assigned political tasks effectively and economically. The focus is on building a database of member organizations with 11 social classes, of which the peasant class accounts for more than 66.97% of the national population...

At the same time, Chairman Do Van Chien also requested the Ministry of Public Security to help the Vietnam Fatherland Front establish a digital transformation project for the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and at the same time organize training and guidance for the staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front during the operation process.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized that, under the direction of the Prime Minister, all departments, branches, unions and levels have tasks in Project 06 and benefit from the achievements of this Project, including the Vietnam Fatherland Front, which benefits from the traditional transition to digital technology. Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc suggested that in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front should urgently invite specialized units to guide and review the implementation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's digital transformation project...
