When the subject Tu Hoang Cam Tu was illegally selling grass drugs to other subjects, he was caught red-handed by the Border Guard force in coordination with other functional forces.
On July 26, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Song, Chief of Serepok Border Guard Station ( Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command) said: the unit has just issued a decision to prosecute the criminal case of "Illegal drug trafficking" in the border area of the province. At the same time, hand over the subject along with the case file and evidence to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police for handling according to authority.
Previously, at 4:30 p.m. on July 22, at Don village, Buon Don border commune, Dak Lak province, the Professional Department of Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with Serepok Border Guard Station and the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police, and Buon Don Commune Police to arrest Tu Hoang Cam Tu, born in 1994, residing in Ea Rong village, Buon Don commune, Dak Lak province, while illegally selling grass drugs to Hoang Trong Nghia, born in 2009, and Nong Quoc Hung, born in 2009, both residing in Ea Wer commune, Dak Lak province.
At the scene, the police seized two transparent zip-lock nylon packages containing brown dry herbs in Hoang Trong Nghia’s left hand. Nghia and Hung confessed that they were methamphetamine that they had just bought from Hoang Cam Tu for 150,000 VND.
During the on-site struggle, Tu admitted to selling drugs and stated that he gave two packages of methamphetamine to his biological son, Ha Tuan Phat, born in 2012, to deliver to Nghia and Hung.

Dismantling a large-scale transnational drug trafficking ring
Expanding the investigation, the subject Tu voluntarily handed over 106 more transparent nylon packages containing brown dried herbs, with a total weight of 1,039.94 grams. Tu confessed to buying these drugs from a man via social media, then dividing them into small pieces to retail to addicts in Buon Don commune and neighboring areas for 50,000 VND/package.
The results of the authorities’ appraisal determined that all the seized herbs contained narcotics. Based on the collected documents and evidence, the Serepok Border Guard Station issued a decision to initiate a criminal case for “Illegal drug trafficking” against Tu Hoang Cam Tu.
Currently, the subject, documents and related evidence have been handed over to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police, for further handling according to the provisions of law.
