Ministry of Science and Technology works with Quang Ngai province on operating two-level local government

In order to grasp the situation of the operation of the administrative apparatus at the commune, ward and special economic zones levels, promptly remove, guide the handling and overcome problems and difficulties, the Ministry of Science and Technology has established 12 working delegations to work in 34 provinces and cities to inspect and supervise the implementation of decentralized tasks and powers under the state management of the Ministry of Science and Technology. On the afternoon of August 14, Working Group No. 8 of the Ministry of Science and Technology, led by Deputy Director of the Department of Innovation Tran Thi Ngoc Ha, worked with Quang Ngai province on the implementation of the operation of the 2-level local government.

Regarding the deployment of shared digital platform systems serving the 2-level local government model, up to now, basically, the provincial agencies have fully and promptly deployed 8 related tasks as required by the central government, basically operating stably, ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the 2-level local government.

In addition to the achieved results, the provincial agencies and units also informed and discussed the current difficulties in digital infrastructure and human resources to operate information technology systems at the commune level; thereby proposing a number of important related issues to operate digital platforms synchronously, smoothly and effectively in the coming time.

The working delegation highly appreciated the efforts and responsibility of the province in implementing breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; tasks related to digital platforms, ensuring the smooth and effective implementation of the 2-level local government model. The delegation noted and summarized the proposals and recommendations at the working session to report to competent authorities for consideration and handling.
