Expected benchmark scores for Computer Engineering in 2025

Many schools have released their predictions for this year's Computer Engineering benchmark scores.

At the University of Transport, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Head of the Department of Examination and Training Quality Assurance, University of Transport - expected the lowest benchmark score to be 20.

For groups with the highest entrance scores in previous years such as Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Automotive Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science , Mechatronic Engineering, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa predicts that the benchmark scores will not fluctuate much, if any, the decrease will be very small. The remaining groups will have fluctuations in benchmark scores, the decrease will be in the range of 0.5 - 1 point.

"It is expected that the benchmark scores for these majors will stabilize at 25.5 to nearly 27. For most of the remaining majors, the benchmark scores may decrease by about 0.5 - 1 compared to last year, at 22 - 24" - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa analyzed.

Many universities predict the benchmark scores for Computer Engineering in 2025.

For Hanoi University of Science and Technology, this year the school has predicted admission scores for all majors, according to the following methods: Talent selection (category 1.2 based on international certificates and category 1.3 based on records combined with interviews), considering thinking assessment test scores and 2025 high school graduation exam scores.

According to the school, the predicted benchmark scores are based on the score distribution and enrollment data from previous years. Considering the high school graduation exam scores, the majors expected to have the highest benchmark scores include Computer Science, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (advanced program) with a score of over 27.8 points.

The benchmark score for Computer Engineering is expected to range from 26.5 to 28 points.

Also, for other methods, predict the benchmark on a 100 scale.

In which, based on the score of the thinking assessment test, the predicted standard score for Computer Engineering is 65.56 - 73.02 points.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology said it will convert scores to a common 30-point scale according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .
