Da Nang launches a series of incentives to stimulate tourism at the end of 2025

DNVN - On the morning of August 15, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang announced a stimulus program to attract tourists to the city in the last months of 2025 with the theme "New Da Nang - New Experience".

This tourism stimulus program attracted the participation of more than 300 units, including Sun Group , Vingroup, Mikazuki, DHC, Hoiana...; museums, relics, tourist attractions; airlines, tourist accommodation establishments, travel agencies, dining and shopping establishments, more than 200 tourism service businesses in the area; technology solution providers VNPAY, TripC AI.

According to Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, Truong Thi Hong Hanh, the implementation of this program aims to contribute to achieving the goal of the city's tourism industry in 2015: Welcoming and serving more than 17.3 million visitors, an increase of 15% compared to the previous year, of which international visitors were 7.6 million (an increase of 25%), domestic visitors were 9.7 million (an increase of 8%), and revenue was nearly 30 trillion VND (an increase of 26%).

“The program emphasizes the diversity and richness of tourism products and services of the new Da Nang City, along with the application of digital transformation in all products and services to stimulate demand to bring many new values and experiences to tourists,” said Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh.

Accordingly, there are 5 special programs, including "Enjoy Danang - Diverse Experiences", 3 experience passports only available in the city: Danang Food Tour, Danang Heritage Tour, Danang Green Tour; "Event and Festival Tour"; "I love Danang - I love Da Nang" to attract international tourists to return to Danang; separate policies for MICE tourists and wedding tourists in 2025 (detailed information of the programs on the website: www.enjoydanang.vn).

At the same time, there are 2 completely new digital transformation solutions. Including online payment solution on VNPAY application, allowing international tourists to register an account quickly and safely with a foreign phone number and directly link to an international payment card. The process is simple, without complicated procedures or inconveniences when exchanging cash for payment.

Online payment solution on VNPAY application allows international customers to register an account quickly and safely using a foreign phone number and directly link an international payment card.

The second solution is an application that integrates the experience of the three online passports mentioned above. Tourists can download the TripC Da Nang software and register their information to receive a free passport; they can upload a photo of the invoice and check in at the location in the passport to immediately collect stamps of the locations and redeem gifts online.

Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh said that along with the press conference in Da Nang, this program will also be introduced at events promoting and advertising Da Nang tourism domestically and internationally such as roadshows in Malaysia and Indonesia in August 2025; ITE fair in Ho Chi Minh City, Japan Expo fair in September 2025...

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang will coordinate with the City Tourism Association to inspect, monitor, receive and handle feedback and recommendations to ensure the rights of tourists during their participation in the program. On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang also announced the Da Nang SMILE tourism culture criteria to guide civilized and cultural behaviors, attitudes and manners in tourism activities in the city.
