On August 16, the High People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint the Chief Justice of the Criminal Court.
At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Hoang - Chief Justice of the High People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City presented the decision to appoint Ms. Pham Thi Duyen - Senior Judge, Deputy Chief Justice of the Economic Court to hold the position of Chief Justice of the Criminal Court of the High People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City from August 15, 2024.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Hoang appreciated that Ms. Pham Thi Duyen always completed all assigned tasks well regardless of her position.
Mr. Tran Thanh Hoang asked her in her new position to continue promoting her achievements, continue to cultivate ethics, improve political qualities, practice professional skills, strive to study and improve professional qualifications, ensure that trials are in accordance with the law, and prevent wrongful convictions or criminals from escaping.
In her acceptance speech, the new Chief Justice of the Criminal Court, Pham Thi Duyen, promised to always be responsible, apply her professional expertise and management experience to work with the team of judges and clerks of the Criminal Court to maximize efficiency in their work.
Besides, Ms. Duyen always reminds herself to maintain her professional qualifications, constantly learn and improve her professional skills to complete assigned tasks well.
Also last week, on August 16, at the agency's headquarters, the Department of Crime Statistics and Information Technology (Department 2), the Supreme People's Procuracy organized the announcement and awarding of decisions to appoint department-level management positions in the unit.
Here, the representative of the Department 2 leadership announced the decision of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy on accepting and appointing Mr. Dinh Van Ket - specialist of the Information and International Cooperation Department, Department of Information Security (Ministry of Information and Communications) to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Information Technology Department under Department 2. The term of appointment for Mr. Dinh Van Ket is 5 years from August 1, 2024.
Presenting the decision and speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Minh Tien - Director of Department 2 congratulated Mr. Dinh Van Ket on being appointed to the position of department leader of Department 2.
Emphasizing that this is both an honor and a great responsibility for Mr. Dinh Van Ket, Director of Department 2 requested the new Deputy Head of the Department in his new position to promote his own capacity and strengths, quickly adapt and get used to the new working environment; promote a sense of responsibility in work to successfully complete assigned tasks.
