In recent years, Dong Gia Nghia ward, Lam Dong province (formerly Dak Nia commune, Gia Nghia city, Dak Nong province) has gradually become an attractive destination for those who love nature, peaceful space and "green" lifestyle.
On weekends, many families from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Dak Lak ... come here to be farmers for the day, camp by the lake and enjoy fresh agricultural products right in the garden.
It is the young people who dare to “leave the city and return to the countryside” who have initiated the clean farming model combined with experiential tourism. Among them, DNo Farm, Eva Village and Yumin Farm are considered the “green seeds” for the future of rural tourism in the locality.
DNo Farm – From the dream of clean agricultural products to Top 10 Green Brands of Vietnam
Located in Dong Tien village, Dong Gia Nghia ward, DNo Farm is a prominent high-tech agricultural model of Lam Dong province, just entered the Top 10 "Vietnam Green Brand 2025".
The owner of DNo Farm, Ms. Bui Thi Khanh Hoa, used to be a female director of a business in Ho Chi Minh City with an income of hundreds of millions of VND per month. However, struggling with the current situation of dirty food, she decided to return to her hometown to start a business.
At the beginning of 2020, Ms. Hoa built the first 500m² greenhouse, manually caught insects, and made her own organic compost to prevent pests.
From vegetable beds serving family meals, DNo Farm developed into Dak Nong Clean Agriculture Joint Stock Company, expanding its scale to 22 hectares, applying modern irrigation and nutrition technology from Israel and Japan.
Currently, DNo Farm produces 13 types of herbs for export to Singapore, meeting GlobalGAP standards. At the same time, the farm prioritizes supplying fresh vegetables directly to kindergartens and families in Gia Nghia, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Hanoi.
“At first, we only welcomed visitors to see the clean vegetable production process. But seeing the great demand, we expanded to experiential agricultural tourism, contributing to spreading the value of clean agriculture,” Ms. Hoa shared.
Every year, DNo Farm welcomes more than 10,000 visitors, organizes activities such as picking vegetables, strawberries, melons, visiting the mini zoo, pedaling ducks, etc. Total revenue is about 10 billion VND, net profit is more than 3.5 billion VND/year. In addition, the farm also creates jobs for 20 local workers and welcomes agricultural interns.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen commented: "DNo Farm is a systematic and effective high-tech agricultural model, contributing to promoting the development of green and sustainable agriculture in the locality."
Eva Village – The “small village” of the Central Highlands originated from the dream of green living
About 3km from DNo Farm, Eva Village is an eco-resort with the appearance of a “green oasis” by the lake. The founder – Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha (Ha Eva) – spent a long time living in Ho Chi Minh City before choosing to return to her hometown to build a space for slow, green living.
On the gently sloping hill, Eva Village is planned into rustic bungalows, lakeside camping areas, winding wooden bridges... Visitors wake up to the morning dew, the sound of forest birds and the fresh air of the Central Highlands mountains and forests.
Not only a resort, Eva Village also connects with local farms, organizes tours to experience farming and picking fruit in the garden, contributing to spreading the spirit of agricultural tourism.
“We want to inspire green living and kindness. Ecotourism is not only for relaxation, but also a journey back to the forest and the land,” Ms. Ha shared.
Currently, the model creates stable jobs for about 20 local workers, while also connecting with traditional craft villages: brocade weaving, wine making, gongs, folk dances, etc.
Ms. H'Trang, from Bon N'Jieng, is one of the first employees to join Eva Village. Earning from 7.5 to 9.5 million VND/month, the job helps her have time to take care of her family and improve her finances.
"I work close to home, can take care of my children, and help with the farm work, so my family's economy and that of other friends working locally are getting better and better," Trang said happily.
Yumin Farm – The dream of “keeping the soul of the mountains and forests”
Growing up in the mountains and forests of the Central Highlands, photographer Nguyen Dinh Anh traveled to many places, but finally decided to return to start a career with the desire to "preserve the soul of the mountains and forests".
Since 2021, he has established Yumin Farm - a model combining farmstay, specialty coffee cultivation, vegetable growing and experiential tourism. On an area of 4 hectares, the farm is designed as an "outdoor studio" with cool green landscape, clear lake, and camping area by the lake.
“Nowhere gives me such deep emotions as my hometown. I want to create a space for people to feel the beauty of the Central Highlands, live slowly and understand more about rural life,” Dinh Anh shared.
Yumin Farm welcomes guests all year round, organizing activities such as boating, coffee picking, BBQ, stargazing... bringing in revenue of about 4 billion VND/year and creating jobs for 10 local workers.
Speaking with Dan Viet reporter, Mr. Thach Canh Tinh, Chairman of Dong Gia Nghia Ward People's Committee, Lam Dong province, said that agricultural tourism models such as DNo Farm, Eva Village, and Yumin Farm are effectively exploiting the advantages of natural landscapes, while creating stable livelihoods for people, especially ethnic minorities.
“Not only contributing to sustainable tourism development, these models also become highlights in the process of building advanced, exemplary new rural areas in the locality,” Mr. Tinh emphasized.

According to the Chairman of Dong Gia Nghia Ward People's Committee, the locality will continue to promote community tourism associated with clean agriculture, while preserving and promoting indigenous cultural values in a sustainable manner.
“We will strengthen the connection between existing models, call for investment and especially create conditions for people to directly participate in the service chain - from providing cuisine, traditional handicraft products to unique agricultural and cultural experiences,” said Mr. Tinh.
“Our goal is to build Dong Gia Nghia into a rural tourist destination with a strong identity, harmonizing economic development and preserving culture and environment, thereby realizing the criteria of a new, improved rural area in a sustainable way,” affirmed the Chairman of Dong Gia Nghia Ward People's Committee.
