Don't let people "wait for the meeting" to reflect

Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, has just issued Document No. 2820/UBND-TH dated October 13, 2025 on proactively handling petitions from voters and people.

The National Assembly delegation of Da Nang City had a meeting with voters before the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly on October 3, at Trung Vuong Theater.

Through the activities of contacting voters to prepare for the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly of the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang City, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City directed the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to increase the dispatch of officials to each village and residential group in the area to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people. Timely resolve the people's legitimate petitions and proposals within their authority; proactively advise and propose departments and branches to guide and handle issues beyond the authority or unclear authority of the locality.

People should not have to wait for the meetings of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of Da Nang City to reflect and make recommendations. Voters' recommendations must be responded to in writing in a complete and timely manner, and at the same time explained and mobilized so that people can understand and implement them.

The leaders of Da Nang City assigned the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with the City Inspectorate, the Office of the City People's Committee (Citizen Reception Committee) and relevant units to monitor and advise the Da Nang City People's Committee to criticize and handle officials who are not close to the people, do not grasp the aspirations of the people, causing a backlog of people's legitimate opinions and recommendations that have not been handled, causing prolonged frustration.

When sending leaders and civil servants to attend meetings with voters of the Da Nang City National Assembly Delegation and the Da Nang City People's Council, in addition to directly responding to recommendations related to their authority, departments, branches and sectors must fully record the recommendations of voters and people in the city. On that basis, the units proactively issue professional and technical guidance documents to resolve common problems of communes, wards and special zones, especially in the fields of land, planning, construction, cultivation, animal husbandry, etc.
